The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

S. Foley replaced N.M. Crosse on Riviera Queen, trained by Mrs John Harrington (Race 2)(intended mount a non runner)

134B Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Orby Stakes

S. Foley, rider of Riviera Queen, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never let herself down on the ground.

134C Weatherbys Ireland Greenlands Stakes

J. Watson, rider of Iberian, trained by Charles Hills (in GB), reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

C. Lee, rider of Lethal Levi (GB), trained by K.R.Burke (in GB), reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung both ways.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference inside the final furlong involving Big Gossey, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed third, Lethal Levi (GB), ridden by C. Lee, placed second, and Vespertilio (FR), ridden by D. McMonagle, placed fourth, where it appeared interference occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W.J. Lee stated that he committed to a gap at the furlong pole that closed from the right and felt it cost him vital momentum and the race. C. Lee stated that his mount hung both ways despite his best efforts, but felt he was clear of Big Gossey and had not caused interference. D. McMonagle stated that his mount had drifted slightly left, was corrected immediately and he also felt he had not caused any interference. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that Big Gossey was never in the gap before it closed and that no alteration to the Judge's placings was necessary. Furthermore, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no riding offence had occurred and therefore took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident inside the final furlong involving Big Gossey, ridden by W.J. Lee, Grand Grey, ridden by J.P. Spencer, and Storm Boy (AUS), ridden by R.L. Moore where it appeared interference occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R. L. Moore stated that he was forced to check as he received pressure from his right. W.J. Lee stated that he switched left and did not feel he caused interference. J.P. Spencer stated that his mount drifted left, but he thought he was clear of the horse inside him. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that J.P. Spencer was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his clean record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Storm Boy (AUS), trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

134D Tulfarris Hotel And Golf Resort H'cap

A.J. Slattery, rider of Cloud Seeker (GB), trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that it was too tight for him to use his whip in the last fifty yards. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the video footage and were satisfied that no interference had occurred and took no further action.

R. Whearty, rider of Zoffman, trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to check at the furlong pole.

W.M. Lordan, rider of Molto Amichi, trained by Eoin Griffin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was difficult in the stalls.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Aeronautic, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Molto Amichi, trained by Eoin Griffin, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have grazed the outside of his left fore canon but was otherwise post race normal.

134E Tattersalls Irish 2,000 Guineas

G.M. Ryan, rider of Comanche Brave, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a little bump at the two furlong pole.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Officer, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at the two furlong pole involving Comanche Brave, ridden by G.M. Ryan, Field Of Gold, ridden by C.T. Keane and Officer, ridden by R.L. Moore where it appeared interference occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. G.M. Ryan stated that as the winner passed him he drifted slightly right which caused his mount to lean on Officer. R.L. Moore stated that he felt slight pressure from his left. C.T. Keane stated that as he passed the horses on his inside his mount leaned slightly right. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

134F QuinnBet Emerald Mile H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident inside the final two furlongs involving Coeur D'or, ridden by C.D. Hayes, Presence, ridden by K.G. Kennedy and No More Porter, ridden by D.P. McDonogh where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. K.G. Kennedy stated that he felt pressure from both sides. D.P. McDonogh stated that he felt he kept a straight line and did not cause interference. C.D. Hayes stated that he felt there was sufficient room to manouvere out into a gap. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found C.D. Hayes was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays. The Raceday Stewards also reminded K.G. Kennedy to be more accurate with his evidence in future enquiries.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Enchanted Garden, trained by Anthony Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right from the furlong pole.

134G Revamp Restoration And Conservation Hcap

Prior to the start of this race the Clerk of the course changed the going to Good, Good to Yielding in places.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Jagged Edge, trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

134J QuinnBet H'cap

J. Kearney, rider of Plume Noire, trained by Gerard Keane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stumbled leaving the stalls.

S. Foley, rider of Marakesh (GB), trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount struggled from the halfway mark.

K.J. Leonard, rider of Just For One Day, trained by M.A.Molloy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount went down just as the stalls opened.
