N.M. Crosse, rider of Divine Blue, trained by John James Feane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stood in the gates momentarily.

135D Tattersalls Gold Cup

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, R.G. Ryan, rider of Ghostwriter, trained by Clive Cox (in GB), reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount rolled a little to his left and clipped a heel at about the six furlong marker. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the incident and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

135E Tattersalls Irish 1,000 Guineas

G.M. Ryan, rider of Atsila, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was short of room leaving the stalls. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the video footage of the start and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Simmering (GB), trained by Ollie Sangster (in GB), at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

135F QuinnBet Spring (Fillies) H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Varshini, trained by J.A.Stack, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

R. Whearty, rider of La Guapisima (FR), trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to check after a furlong and a half. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the video footage and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

G.F. Carroll, rider of Shiota, trained by Joseph G. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the final furlong.

135G Cryoclinic.ie H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Scatchwah trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery was seen to have blood at both nostrils post race.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into the running and riding of Alphonse Le Grande, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, and trained by A.J.Martin. Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer concerned. J.A. Heffernan, stated that he was drawn wide and he didnt't want to use him up to get a position so slotted in and rode him to come home. He further added that the ground felt quick on him and that his mount was trying to hang in towards the rail in what was a slowly run race that turned into a sprint in the home straight. A.J.Martin, trainer, confirmed the instructions and his satisfaction with the run and the ride on a horse having his first start in seven months. The Raceday Stewards also received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer who reported that the horse was post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the explanations given in relation to Rule 212. However, the Raceday Stewards found J.A. Heffernan in breach of Rule 213 (failure to report anything that may have affected the performance of his mount) and in considering his clean record in this regard they suspended him for one raceday. Mr. Robert Dore recused himself from this enquiry.

S. Foley, rider of La Vita Nova, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran around under pressure.

R.C. Colgan, rider of Scatchwah, trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.

K.G. Kennedy, rider of The Mediator, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was tight for room a few times. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the video footage and took no further action..
