W. Joyce, rider of Haughty (GB), trained by Mrs Lorna Fowler, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right when they started to race.

W.J. Lee, rider of State Actor, trained by W.T. Farrell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled in the early stages, possibly due to the ground, but ran on in the closing stages.

S. Foley, rider of Malaysian, trained by H.D. McGuigan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly and may have burst a blood vessel. The IHRB Veterinary Officer subsequently examined Malaysian and reported the animal to be post race normal.
J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Harseva, trained by Patrick Magee, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount reared leaving the stalls.
D. McMonagle, rider of Glencullen, trained by Ms. Joanna Morgan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keen.

The Raceday Stewards informed E. D. Delany, trainer of Laurie Blue, that a repeat performance from his charge, who refused to race, may render the animal liable to a suspension in the future
