The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

B.W. Harvey rode Supervalue Park (reserve) trained by Ms. Debbie Hartnett (Race 2).
P.K. Donovan rode Leeside Rock (reserve) trained by Terence O'Brien (Race 2).

K.C. Sexton, rider of Luker's Tipple, trained by Andrew Kinirons, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount cocked his jaw at the start and went left.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, E.M. O'Sullivan, rider of Mon Sheriffe (GB), trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was a bit feely on the ground and jumped a bit big.

The Raceday Stewards granted permission for William Tell, to run in accordance with the provision of Rule 90(v) as positive identification can be made but there are discrepancies in the markings as recorded in the Passport. The Trainer shall have 30 days to update the passport to the satisfaction of an IHRB Veterinary Officer/Assistant.

K.C. Sexton, rider of Harry's Legacy (GB), trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped leaving the back straight.

Cian Cullinan, rider of No Demand, trained by Darren Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right and could not keep him straight.

P K Donovan, rider of Leeside Rock, trained by Terence O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran very green.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident turning out of the back straight involving Lord Ffrench, ridden by P. Byrnes, unplaced and No Demand, ridden by Cian Cullinan, unplaced, where it appeared No Demand made contact with Lord Ffrench. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P. Byrnes stated that he received contact from No Demand. Cian Cullinan stated that his mount ran very green and hung badly right, he further added that he had changed his stick hand and made every effort to correct his mount. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Colleen Danu, trained by Patrick T. Foley, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Patrick Cronin, trainer of Onebrightbluerose, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge received a cut below the knee in running.

Owing to the low lying sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for hurdles number four, five and six to be omitted from this race.

C.G. O'Dwyer, rider of Jetaway Sheldon, trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped.

190F RBC Brewin Dolphin H'dle

Owing to the low lying sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for hurdles number four, five and six to be omitted from this race.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident leaving the back straight on the final circuit, involving Happy Jacky, ridden by P.T. Smithers, placed first and Reverend Hubert, ridden by P. Byrnes, placed second, where it appeared P. Byrnes had to take a check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P.T. Smithers stated that coming around the bend his mount came across slightly. P. Byrnes stated that he had to take a check and his mount lost momentum. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found P.T. Smithers, was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended P.T. Smithers for two racedays. Ms. L. Harney recused herself from this enquiry.

P. Byrnes, rider of Reverend Hubert, trained by C.Byrnes, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly hampered leaving the back straight.

Ms H. Phillips, rider of Jimmybrien, trained by M.J. Phillips, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount never travelled on the ground.

190G Racing Again July 25 (F) INH Flat Race

Mr J.H. Williamson, rider of Might Be The One, trained by Andrew McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran too keen.
