The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

H.D. McGuigan, trainer of Malaysian (transport difficulties) - €200.

191A Ladies Day At Dundalk H'cap

The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, that A.J. Casey, rider of Sporting Hero (GB) had presented to weigh out at 2lbs overweight, which had not been declared at declaration time. Having consulted with the trainers Authorised Representative Mr. Phillip Heenan, the Raceday Stewards allowed A.J. Casey to take the ride. At a subsequent Stewards enquiry, evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he had advised Denis Gerard Hogan, trainer that he would be unable to ride at the declared weight. Evidence was also heard from Mr. Heenan who confirmed that this was the case and apologised on Mr Hogans behalf for his failure to declare 2lbs overweight. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

191C Catherine Allison & Co. Solicitors M'dn

P.A. Harnett, rider of Four White Fury (GB), trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to sit for a couple of strides in the home straight as result of the horse in front of him coming back.

191D1 QuinnBet H'cap

The Raceday Stewards interviewed B.M. Coen, rider of Sierra De Gredos (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that his mount was responding to his whip use. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that B.M. Coen was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g (excessive frequency) and having considered his clean record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.

191D2 QuinnBet H'cap

Alyse Jane Clarke, rider of The Bog Bank, trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount was carried wide around the bend.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Obama Army (GB), trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

R.M Mulligan, rider of He's Justagent, trained by Paul Mulligan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a bump from the inside.

L.F. Roche, rider of Shuyak, trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly off the track.

191G Family Funday At Dundalk 15th Aug H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Quickshot (USA) trained by Adrian Murray was found to be a gelding and not a colt as shown on the passport presented. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards fined the trainer €130 in accordance with the provisions of Rule 148(xii).
