125A Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

G.M. Ryan, rider of Havana Anna (GB), trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around under pressure.

125B Flower Hill Apprentice H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident inside the final three furlongs involving Lismacbryan Hill, ridden by P. McGettigan, unplaced, Whatswrongnow, ridden by J.A. Powell, unplaced and American In Paris, ridden by R. Whearty, unplaced, where it appeared that some interference had occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P. McGettigan stated that his mount rolled around under pressure but that he had made every effort to correct his mount. J.A. Powell stated that he had to move off his line for a stride or two to avoid Lismacbryan Hill. R. Whearty stated that he received some pressure from the left. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

P. McGettigan, rider of Lismacbryan Hill, trained by Patrick Magee, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around under pressure up the home straight.

Alexandra Egan, rider of Micasso, trained by Donal Kinsella, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount jumped severely right leaving the stalls.

T. Casey, rider of James The Second, trained by Michael Mulvany, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount reared leaving the starting stalls.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Kevin Thomas Coleman, trainer, as to the improvement in form of Devil's Angel (GB), placed first, as compared with its recent form. Mr. Coleman reported that the ground at Naas on the 23rd March had not suited his charge. He further stated that his charge had reacted badly to blinkers whilst running at Bellewstown on the 5th April. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation offered in relation to the improvement in form.

125C Navan Racecourse M'dn

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident inside the final furlong involving Seattle (FR), ridden by W.M. Lordan, placed first, Sun Soldier, ridden by B.M. Coen, placed second and Sci Fi, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, placed sixth, where it appeared that some interference had occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W.M. Lordan stated that his mount ran green whilst passing other horses and hung left. B.M. Coen stated that he had to check. D.P. McDonogh stated that he had to sit for a stride to avoid Sun Soldier. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

B.M. Coen, rider of Sun Soldier, trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was a little tight for room.

R. Whearty, rider of Elegant Grand (USA), trained by Adrian Murray, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Remarkable News, trained by John James Feane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

W.J. Lee, rider of Mercury Power, trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran very keenly, and her race was run when he took a precautionary check as a gap closed in front of him.

125D Best of Luck Retirement Joey Martin Hcap

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from A. Oliver, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of The Highway Rat, placed first, as compared with its recent form. A. Oliver reported that today’s quicker ground and a liking for the track brought about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation offered.

Martin Hassett, trainer of Harry's Hill (GB), reported to the Office of the IHRB that his charge had a wind operation on the 7th April 2025.

125E Irish Stallion Farms EBF Yeats Stakes

W.M. Lordan, rider of Butterfly Wings (USA), trained by A.P. O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned slightly left up the straight.

The IHRB Veterinary Officer examined Butterfly Wings (USA), trained by A.P. O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

125F Troytown Bar H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at the two and a half furlong mark involving Red Secret (CAN), ridden by P. McGettigan, unplaced, Obama Army (GB), ridden by Adam Caffrey, unplaced and Sunny Dude, ridden by R.P. Cleary, unplaced, where it appeared interference had occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P. McGettigan stated that his mount received a bump when general bunching occurred. Adam Caffrey stated that he felt pressure from the inside but maintained his line. R.P. Cleary stated that as he made his move, he had to take a hold of his mount when he felt pressure from the outside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident inside the final furlong involving Fine Print, ridden by J. Kearney, placed second, and Maxwell Smart, ridden by R. Whearty, placed fifth, where it appeared R. Whearty had to sit for a stride. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

125H Book Your Summer BBQ On June 7th M'dn

The Raceday Stewards informed Daniel McLoughlin, trainer, that Nancee Spain would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

The IHRB Veterinary Officer examined Kilcrea Rock, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

S.T. McCullagh, rider of Carthusian, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran very green for the last two furlongs.
