Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that D. Meyler was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for two racedays.
S.F. O'Keeffe, rider of Not Even Maybe, trained by William Delahunty, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly and pulled up.
Ms.M.Flynn, trainer of Toor Idaho, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her charge never travelled.
121D Tipperary M'dn H'dleOwing to low lying sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for hurdles number three and four to be omitted from this race.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident entering the home straight involving Fortune The Brave, ridden by K.E Buckley, unplaced, William Butler, ridden by D.J Gilligan, placed third, Kir (FR), ridden by D. J. O'Keeffe, placed fourth and The Lookout Man, ridden by R. Deegan, unplaced, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. K.E Buckley stated that he was struggling to hold his position when he received a bump from his inside. D.J Gilligan stated that he was down the inside and things got tight for a few strides. D. J. O'Keeffe stated that he was fighting to hold his position and things got congested because of the slow early pace. R. Deegan stated that he received minimal interference. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident by passing the first hurdle in the back straight involving Fortune The Brave, ridden by K.E Buckley, unplaced and Mashalla Habibi, ridden by S.D. Torrens, unplaced, where it appeared contact was made. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. K.E Buckley stated that due to the omitted hurdle, general bunching occurred, which caused his mount to have to move out. S.D. Torrens stated that general bunching occurred. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Lacaduv trained by Gordon Elliott suffered heat stress post race.
R. Deegan, rider of The Lookout Man, trained by Finbarr Cowman, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room turning into the home straight and pulled up lame.
