The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

P.T. Enright replaced S.W. Flanagan on Berkshire Echo, trained by Martin Hassett (Race 2)(injured).

122A Clonmel Racecourse Claiming H'dle

P. Byrnes, rider of The Mass Path, trained by C.Byrnes, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got hampered by the faller, jumped poor thereafter and felt the ground was too quick for him.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Gordon Elliott, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Voice Of Reason, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainers representative reported that it was a poor quality race and the horse got its own way in running. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its contents.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined The Mass Path, trained by C.Byrnes, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have a superficial cut on its left fore knee but was otherwise post race normal. Samples were taken for further analysis.

122C Tote Never Beaten By SP H'cap H'dle

Prior to the running of this race the I.H.R.B. Clerk of the Course changed the going to good, good to firm in places.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Oakley (GER), trained by Anthony Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

D.E. Mullins, rider of Oakley (GER), trained by Anthony Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a mistake early.

S.D. Torrens, rider of Padraic's Choice, trained by Patrick T. Foley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount bolted at the start.

G. Brouder, rider of Isthereonemoreinme, trained by D.E.Fitzgerald, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was running keen to the first bend and when he was taking back his mount stumbled. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the video evidence and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The following Raceday Stewards acted on behalf of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board at this race meeting: Mr. Nicholas P. Lambert (Chairman), Mr. Patrick Coveney, Mr. Richard R. Rohan, Ms. Linda Harney, Mr. L. Aspell.

Owing to the low lying sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for hurdles one and two to be omitted from races four, five and six.
