The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

407A2 Tuesday Treat At Punchestown M'dn H'dle

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Dermot Anthony McLoughlin trainer of Jim's Cracker (GB), for an additional ten minutes to present the horse for identification to an Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Official, as provided for under the provisions of Rule 90 (i).

S.W. Flanagan, rider of Jhentong Enki (FR), trained by Paul Nolan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake early on.

Mr F. Maguire, rider of Mortimer Duke (GB), trained by Barry Connell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped green early.

407B Summer In Town 8th & 9th June Hcap H'dle

J.G. Gilligan, rider of Sayitfirst, trained by Darren Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost its action before the last and pulled up thereafter.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after the start of this race involving Fox Leicester, ridden by Niall Moore, and Lake Manzaleh (GB), ridden by M.M. McDonagh, where it appeared that Fox Leicester clipped a heel. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Niall Moore stated that he received pressure from his outside causing him to clip a heel. M.M. McDonagh stated that before the incident occurred he did not see Fox Leicester in his eye line, but when he heard a shout he moved to correct the situation. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that M.M. McDonagh was in breach of Rule 214 (careless riding) and having considered his record (second offence), they suspended him for four racedays.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed a false start of this race involving Hillsdale, ridden by Sam Ewing. Having viewed the recording of the incident, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Hillsdale had proceeded into a canter despite the riders best efforts and that no further action was warranted.

B.P. Kennedy, rider of Scott Lang, trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled.

407D FitClub At Punchestown 9th June Hcap Hdl

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Club Manager (GB), trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

K.M. Donoghue, rider of Club Manager (GB), trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the third.

407E1 Thank You To Our Track Team H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Champagne Saloon, trained by Sean Aherne, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have skin scrapes on both front legs and to be otherwise post race normal.

Sam Ewing, rider of One Flew Eau Verte, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the fourth last and was pulled up thereafter.

B.W. Harvey, rider of Walkonthebriteside, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

R. Deegan, rider of Drum Roll (FR), trained by Paul Nolan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount unseated him on the way to the start.

P.T. Enright, rider of Champagne Saloon, trained by Sean Aherne, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stopped quickly.

407E2 Thank You To Our Track Team H'cap H'dle

R. Deegan, rider of Great Rainbow (FR), trained by Brian M. McMahon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped right at the last hurdle.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed the closing stages of this race involving Warmer Days Ahead (FR), ridden by P.T. Enright, placed second, and Great Rainbow (FR), ridden by R. Deegan, placed third, where it appeared that Great Rainbow drifted into the path of Warmer Days Ahead. Having viewed the incident, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

407F See You In June H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards interviewed J.S. McGarvey, rider of Bearwithmenow, concerning his use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he had used his whip excessively and said his mount was very lazy and that it never travelled at any stage in the race. He concluded by stating that his mount was very ungenuine. The Raceday Stewards also received a report from the I.H.R.B. Veterinary Officer,which included photographic evidence. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that J.S. McGarvey was in breach of both Regulation 10.3(f)(force) and Regulation 10.3.(g)(frequency). Having taken his previous record into account(second offence), the Raceday Stewards suspended J.S. McGarvey for ten racedays.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dinoland (FR), trained by John C. McConnell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be sore post race.

B.W. Harvey, rider of Dinoland (FR), trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

M.P. O'Connor, rider of Lucky Two, trained by Thomas Gibney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly hampered by the fallers at the second last hurdle.
