024A Nathaniel Lacy Solicitors Novice H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Loughglynn, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Mr P.W. Mullins, rider of Loughglynn, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped poor and hung right under pressure.

024B McCann FitzGerald Spring Juvenile H'dle

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the bend into the straight involving Intellotto, ridden by D.A. Jacob, unplaced, Kala Conti (FR), ridden by J.W. Kennedy, placed fifth, and Kargese (FR), ridden by D.E. Mullins, placed first, where it appeared Intellotto got marginally tight for room on the rail. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

024C Goffs Irish Arkle Novice S'chase

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Vincent Laurence Halley, trainer of Senecia, for an additional ten minutes to present the animal for identification by an IHRB official, as provided for under the provisions of Rule 90(i).

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Marine Nationale, trained by Barry Connell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, M.J.M O'Sullivan, rider of Marine Nationale, trained by Barry Connell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that the winner was clear of him when jumping the last and that his mount took of early due to the shadow causing him to make a mistake. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the video evidence and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

024D Race And Stay Leopardstown H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from S.R.B. Crawford, trainer of Ailie Rose, for an additional ten minutes to present the animal for identification by an IHRB official, as provided for under the provisions of Rule 90(i).

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Patrick T. Foley, trainer of Castle Field Boy, for an additional ten minutes to present the animal for identification by an IHRB official, as provided for under the provisions of Rule 90(i).

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from John Joseph Murphy, trainer of Black Bamboo, for an additional ten minutes to present the animal for identification by an IHRB official, as provided for under the provisions of Rule 90(i).

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident after jumping the second last involving The Very Man, ridden by K.M. Donoghue, unplaced, Gaoth Chuil, ridden by S. O'Callaghan, placed second, Max Flamingo, ridden by Thomas Reilly, unplaced, and Park Of Kings, ridden by C. Stone-Walsh, placed fifth, where it appeared The Very Man ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. K.M. Donoghue stated he received pressure from both sides. S. O'Callaghan stated he was on the outside and kept a true line around the bend. Thomas Reilly stated he was back pedalling but kept his mount on its racing line. C. Stone-Walsh stated a gap appeared and he went to take it but it closed as he was getting into it. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards gave C. Stone-Walsh the benefit of the doubt and took no further action.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Fine Margin, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

024F Ryanair H'cap S'chase

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from James Andrew Fahey, trainer of Typical Thomas, for an additional ten minutes to present the animal for identification by an IHRB official, as provided for under the provisions of Rule 90(i).

024G Donohue Future Stars (C&G) INH Flat Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined A Dream To Share, trained by John E. & Thomas Kiely, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The following Raceday Stewards acted on behalf of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board at this race meeting:

Prior to the meeting, the Raceday Stewards approved a request from Clerk of the Course, Mr. L. Wyer, to amend the distance of race 4 to 3 miles 59 yards, due to a clerical error.
