The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Sean Davis, trainer of Rogerwaswrong (off feed) - €200

058A Sky Bet Request A Bet H'cap

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Sam's Xpress, trained by Kieran P. Cotter, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was short of room on the bend. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Hezahunk, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a bump on the bend.

R.M Mulligan, rider of Kuwait Direction, trained by Keith Henry Clarke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from W.P.Browne, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Pro Bono Alexander, placed first, as compared with its recent form. W.P. Browne stated that his charge got interfered with in running the last day and also the change of headgear today helped bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.

Adam Caffrey, rider of River Derwent (GB), trained by Thomas Coyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

058E Sky Bet H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Aisling Oscar, trained by Craig O'Neill, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

058F Sky Bet Acca Freeze H'cap

Adam Caffrey, rider of Exquisite Acclaim, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung severely left up the straight.

058G Sky Bet Club H'cap

P.A. Harnett, rider of Dark Street, trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a bit tight near the line but it made no difference to his placing. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Comfort Line, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a small bit tight going into the first bend.

K.J. Leonard, rider of Darkened, trained by Noel C. Kelly, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left from two furlongs out.

G.F. Carroll, rider of Nawraq, trained by Kevin Michael Smith, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had to check a furlong and a half out.

K.G. Kennedy, rider of Together Aclaim (GB), trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount clipped a heel in the straight.

S. Foley, rider of Anjah, trained by H.D. McGuigan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ducked right when he hit the front.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight of this race involving Snag It, ridden by G.M. Ryan, unplaced, Nawraq, ridden by G.F. Carroll, unplaced, Together Aclaim (GB), ridden by K.G. Kennedy, unplaced, and Anjah, ridden by S. Foley placed second, where it appeared Together Aclaim clipped a heel. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S. Foley stated that he kept a straight line. G.F. Carroll stated that he took out of the gap. G.M. Ryan stated that his mount rolled around but he corrected him immediately. K.G. Kennedy stated that he went for a gap and felt contact from his left and clipped the horses heel in front of him. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found G.M. Ryan was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays. .

058H Sky Bet Build A Bet H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Palace Rock, trained by Francis Casey, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Eskimo Komet, trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.
