The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Mrs John Harrington, trainer of Striking (FR) (ground) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

C.P. McNamara replaced R.P. Treacy on Thegraveyardbookie, trained by E. McNamara (Race 4)(intended mount a non runner)

057A Welcome To Student Raceday M'dn H'dle

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, M.M. McDonagh, rider of Milteye (GB), trained by E. J. O'Grady, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran keen for the first mile and then just stayed on one paced thereafter.

057B Follow Us On Social Media M'dn H'dle

P. Townend, rider of Cadoudal Saint (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped poorly and made a noise in running.

P.K. Donovan, rider of Kinski (FR), trained by Patrick G.Kelly, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel. The I.H.R.B. Veterinary Officer subsequently confirmed that Kinski had blood at both nostrils post race.

057C Racing Home For Easter Festival Hcap Hdl

The Raceday Stewards interviewed R.A. Doyle, rider of Three Comets (GER), concerning his use of the whip in home straight on the first circuit of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip Regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that R.A. Doyle was in breach of R10.3(i)(time to respond) and having considered his record (first offence under Regulation 10), they suspended him for 2 racedays.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Brendan Maurice Walsh, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Knockbrack Rambler, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that his charge stopped quickly on the tough underfoot conditions on its last run in Clonmel on the 15th of February and todays more favourable conditions may have brought about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Junot, trained by Michael Winters, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the last hurdle on the first circuit.

T.P. Harney, rider of Golden Symphony, trained by Martin Paul Fitzgerald, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped shortly after the start and he pulled up.

057D Full Circle Series Qualifier H'cap H'dle

E. Walsh, rider of Rolly Bowley Boy, trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr S. Tobin, rider of Johngus, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip Regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr. S. Tobin was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record (second offence under Regulation 10), they suspended him for four racedays.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Harveys Point, trained by C.A.Murphy, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be slightly lame post race.

057F Longines Fegentri (QR) H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Scarbrook, trained by Paul Nolan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on its left fore having pulled its left fore shoe in running.

Mr Alan O'Sullivan, rider of Imperial Fox, trained by Padraig Butler, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

Mr R.W. Barron, rider of Majestic Design, trained by Declan Queally, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got very tired, was pulled up and dismounted.

057G Buy Tickets (M)(L) (Pro-Am)INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Ms C. Skerry, rider of Walk In The Shadow, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted she was in breach of the whip Regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Ms. C. Skerry was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered her record (second offence under Regulation 10), they suspended her for five racedays.
