The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Aidan Melia, trainer of Superior Force (GB) (late withdrawal) - €200.

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

R.P. Cleary replaced S.P. Davis on Kilgharrahs Love, trained by Thomas Cleary (Race 2)(unwell)

165B Golf At Gowran Park H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Night Magic, ridden by S. Foley, placed third, and Highbury See See, ridden by A.J. Slattery, placed first, where it appeared interference took place. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, S. Foley stated that he suffered minor interference from his right. A.J. Slattery stated that his mount overreacted to his manouvere to the left but felt he reacted immediately. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found A.J. Slattery, was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two Racedays.

C. Geerdharry, rider of Lovely, trained by Diego Dias, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received a bad bump in the straight. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the footage and were satisfied no further action was warranted..

S. Foley, rider of Night Magic, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount suffered minor interference at the furlong pole.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Highbury See See, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran around in the home straight.

165C Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) H'cap

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from J.P. Murtagh, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Declaree, placed first, as compared with its recent form. J.P. Murtagh, Trainer, stated that his charge received a bump in what was a messy race on his last run at Roscommon. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its content.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the bend leaving the back straight involving Ribchestina, ridden by J.A. Powell, Neo Smart, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, and Tai Tam Bay, ridden by C.D. Hayes where it appeared an incident occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, C.D. Hayes stated that he received pressure from his right at the first bend. D.P.McDonogh stated that he received pressure from his right at the first bend forcing him off his line. J.A. Powell stated that his mount ran very keen into the first bend and manouvered left off the leader's heels. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

165F Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Parga Diamond, trained by Miss Hilary McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

165G Thomastown Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Fleur De Chine (GB), trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

S. Foley, rider of Fleur De Chine (GB), trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount slipped turning for home.
