The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Ronan M.P. McNally, trainer of Da Baba Elephant (Off Feed) - €200

192A Dial-A-Bet On 02890 321 721 (M) Mdn Hdl

R.M. Power, rider of Jelona trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't jump fluently.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Jelona, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

192B Randox Health Rated H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Soldiers Hill, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards interviewed D. Robinson, rider of The King Of Brega, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(e)(use of whip other than on shoulder or hind quarters) and having taken his record into account suspended him for 1 race day.

192C Randox Health H'cap H'dle

L.A. McKenna, rider of Misty Mountain (USA) trained by J.J.Lambe, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled a front shoe.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Misty Mountain (USA) trained by J.J.Lambe was found to have pulled its left fore shoe and also had an overreach on the left fore.

192E Homecare M'dn H'dle

The Stewards requested a report from Kevin Michael Smith, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of It Takes Time, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that this mare may have found the two mile trip at Kilbeggan a little sharp and the longer trip today combined with the first time application of sheepskin cheek pieces may account for the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

P.J. O'Hanlon, rider of Get Away On trained by R. K. Watson, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left.

R. K. Watson, trainer of Get Away On, reported to the Office of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board that his charge was very lame post race.
