D.J Gilligan, rider of Crooked Tannie, trained by Cian Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Crooked Tannie, trained by Cian Collins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
At the request of the Raceday Stewards, M.J.M O'Sullivan, rider of Jeu De Pic (FR), trained by Thomas Cooper, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was slowly away, ran green, and just kept on one pace.
S.D. Torrens, rider of Khadaash (GB), trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount refused to race.
The Raceday Stewards advised John C. McConnell, trainer of Khadaash, that a repeat performance from his charge, who refused to race, may render the animal liable to a suspension in the future.
183C Bia Energy Bellewstown H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident turning for home involving Dads Lad, ridden by B. Hayes, unplaced, where it appeared he had to take a check. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
183D Phil & Patsy Kierans Mem. (M) Mdn HdleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cottesloe Sunshine, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
A.P. Kelly, rider of Mill House Creek (GB), trained by Stephen Gerard Carey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up injured.
T. Ryan, rider of Slim Marvel (FR), trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was short of room several times. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
183E1 Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the first bend on the first circuit involving Benz, ridden by Daire James McConville, unplaced, Boskill Borden, ridden by Cian Cullinan, placed fourth, The Mass Path, ridden by P. Byrnes, placed sixth, and Moneynabane, ridden by C. Stone-Walsh, unplaced, where it appeared several horses got tight for room rounding the bend. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Daire James McConville stated that he felt pressure from his outside, had to take a check and clipped a heel. Cian Cullinan stated that he felt pressure from his outside. P. Byrnes stated that he felt pressure from his outside. C. Stone-Walsh stated that he felt he was clear of the incident at the time. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.
183F QuinnBet H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages of this race involving Como Park, ridden by Rachael Blackmore, placed first, and Mister Beeton, ridden by S. Fitzgerald, placed second, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Rachael Blackmore stated that she felt she had kept a straight line. S. Fitzgerald stated that his mount had rolled out and there was contact but he wasn't sure if it affected the result. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that while there was contact between the two horses, Como Park did not improve his finishing position in relation to Mister Beeton so they made no alteration to the Judge’s placings. Furthermore, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no riding offence had occurred and took no further action.
Mr D. Doyle, rider of Getaway Charlie, trained by Timothy Doyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't handle the ground and pulled up.
J. Kearney, rider of Futurum Regem, trained by Hugh Paul Finegan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room at the top bend. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
