On the 15 of October 2026, the Directors of the IHRB approved the following changes which will came into effective on 15 October 2026:
Rule 87 (ii)(b) If a tracheostomy procedure has been performed within the previous 7 days. For the avoidance of doubt there must be 6 clear days between the procedure and Raceday. if the Horse has had a tracheostomy.
