Following this report the Raceday Stewards interviewed K. J. Leonard in relation to this report, Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. K.J Leonard stated that after watching the recording of the race he accepted his mount wasn't slowly away but felt his mount never travelled throughout. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards took no further action, other than to advise K. J. Leonard to be more aware of the wording of his reports in future.
