The Raceday Stewards, pursuant to the provisions of Rule 272, interviewed S. Fitzgerald concerning the accuracy of his report. Having viewed a recording of the race S. Fitzgerald apologised for the inaccuracy of his report and with the consent of the Raceday Stewards he amended his report to state that his mount hung left throughout. Furthermore, The Raceday Stewards took no further action other than to remind S. Fitzgerald of his obligation to give accurate reports in the future.

Having viewed a recording of the incident and considered the matter the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that while San Andreas had forced his gate to open marginally quicker than the other gates he had not gained any material advantage and they took no further action.
