The IHRB Veterinary Officer examined Bannow Blaze, trained by Jonathan Fogarty, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Mr D. O'Connor, rider of Hillstar Blues, trained by Sean Aherne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he was not happy with his mounts action from the last hurdle to the line. The IHRB Veterinary Officer examined Hillstar Blues and reported the animal to be post race normal. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter, including the content of the report, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that, although Mr. D. O'Connor appeared to ease down in the closing stages, no further action was warranted on this occasion.
