S.B. Kelly, rider of Sixpack (GB), trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount panicked while racing in a group of horses across the top of the track and went left despite his best efforts. The Raceday Stewards reviewed this incident and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Thunder Canyon, trained by Luke Comer, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have blood at the nostrils post race.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed the retreat of Thunder Canyon while being eased by the rider and were satisfied that while the animal did cause several riders to get tight for room it was through no fault of any individual and therefore took no further action.
