The Stewards interviewed S.J. Mahon, trainer of Afatcat(GB) after he requested the Turf Club Veterinary Officer to examine his charge after he raised concerns about the horse's failure to pick up in the closing stages and his listlessness post race.
Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned.
The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported Afatcat(GB) to be Post Race Normal and samples were taken for analysis.
