The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

R.L. Moore replaced J.A. Heffernan on Henry Adams, trained by A.P.O'Brien (Race 3)(Stewards permission)

207A Irish EBF Median Sires Series (F) M'dn

W.J. Lee, rider of Ten Deep (GB), trained by P. Twomey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout this race.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Foxtrot J, trained by Michael William O'Meara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned right in the home straight.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, Kyanna Van Buuren, rider of Sli Na Ghealai, trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount got no luck in running in the straight.

207B Jockey Club Turkey Silver Flash Stakes

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident about one and a half furlongs from the finish line involving Nemonte, ridden by M.P. Sheehy, placed fourth, and Vespertilio (FR), ridden by W.J. Lee, placed second, where it appeared Nemonte had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, W.J.Lee stated that his mount switched his leads and over exaggerated when he made his challenge. M.P. Sheehy stated that his mount lugged outwards and inwards out of greenness when Vespertilio(FR) made his challenge to go by him. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that W.J.Lee was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly. Having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended W.J.Lee for two Racedays.

M.P. Sheehy, rider of Nemonte, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lugged left when Vespertilio(FR) went by him.

W.J. Lee, rider of Vespertilio (FR), trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount over exaggerated his move when he was making his challenge.

207D Frank Conroy Irish EBF M'dn

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Alpha Cephei (GB), ridden by L.T. McAteer, placed sixth, Chief Little Rock, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, placed second, and The Equator, ridden by R.L. Moore, placed fourth, where it appeared The Equator got a little tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, R.L.Moore stated that his mount was running green in the closing stages and emptying when Chief Little Rock drifted in. L.T. McAteer stated that his race was run when the interference took place and had no bearing on his finishing position. J.A. Heffernan stated that he was finishing fast when his mount drifted in before correcting him quickly at the line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings and took no further action.

R.L. Moore, rider of The Equator, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a little tight for room.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Alonzo (GB) trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien was initially sound post race but on further examination he was found to be lame when he had cooled off.

D. McMonagle, rider of Alonzo (GB), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost his action shortly after leaving the starting stalls.

207F Hipódromo De La Zarzuela Rated Race

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Rapparee Champ, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received a bump in the straight.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the home straight involving Waltham (GB), ridden by C.T. Keane, Esquiline (FR), ridden by B.M. Coen, Mr Lincoln (GB), ridden by G.F. Carroll, and Rapparee Champ, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, where it appeared horses rolled around and Rapparee Champ, received a bump. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

207G Horseraces Member S.A. Of Greece H'cap

W.J. Lee, rider of Elzaamsan, trained by M. Halford & T. Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got no run in the straight. Having viewed a recording of the race, the Raceday stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

D. McMonagle, rider of Firm Belief, trained by Rodger Sweeney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was impatient in the starting stalls.

207H Romanised Minstrel Stakes

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Snapraeterea, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered early on and ran keen.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after leaving the starting stalls involving Snapraeterea, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, Lord Massusus, ridden by G.F. Carroll, and Zarinsk (GB), ridden by C.T. Keane, where it appeared Snapraeterea was hampered. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, C.T. Keane stated that he jumped sharp and felt he was well clear when he moved across. D.P. McDonogh stated that he broke slowly and was hampered when he received a brush shortly after leaving the stalls from Zarinsk (GB) and had to take a slight check and later when he started to feel pressure from Lord Massusus on his outside. G.F. Carroll stated that he broke well and ran keen when making slight contact with Snapraeterea. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed C.T. Keane, rider of Zarinsk (GB), concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. In his evidence, C.T. Keane stated he felt he was clear at the marker poles and proceded to move in then. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence from the rider, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that C.T. Keane was in breach of Rule 211 (a). Having considered his record in this regard, the Raceday stewards suspended C.T. Keane for one Raceday.
