206C Sean Barrett Bloodstock Insurances H'cap

L.T. McAteer, rider of The Snapper, trained by Jack W. Davison, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had no luck in running.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Lalechko (GB), trained by Padraig Roche, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was restless in stalls and jumped awkwardly once the stalls opened.

C.T. Keane, rider of Coolcalmncollected (GB), trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount had no luck in running.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Transcendental (FR), trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed J.M. Sheridan, rider of Tai Sing Yeh, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he had exceeded the whip guidelines and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that J.M. Sheridan was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record, they cautioned him on this occasion.

206D Yeomanstown Stud Irish EBF Stakes

S. Foley, rider of Clounmacon, trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung a bit right under pressure.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from J.P. Murtagh, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Clounmacon, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. J. P. Murtagh stated that Clounmacon ran too free at Royal Ascot and did not stay as a result. A drop in trip and the application of cheek-pieces helped to contribute to the apparent improvement in form today. Having considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

206E1 O'Neill & Co. Apprentice H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident early in the home straight involving The Blue Panther, ridden by Adam Caffrey, unplaced and Vormir, ridden by D.N. Curran, placed sixth, where it appeared Vormir got tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.N. Curran stated that as he went for the gap things got tight. Adam Caffrey stated that he got carried right by the horses on his inner but felt he straightened his mount as soon as he realised there was a horse on his outer. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards they took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident early in the straight involving Nicky's Champ, ridden by M.W Hassett, unplaced, Feature This, ridden by C. Stone-Walsh, unplaced, Patrick Street (GB), ridden by J. Kearney, unplaced, and Wrist Art, ridden by C. Horgan, placed third, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. M.W. Hassett stated that his horse drifted momentarily but he correct him straight away. C. Stone-Walsh stated that he got contact from his right and he had to take a check. J. Kearney stated that his mount lugged for a few strides but felt no interference. C. Horgan stated that he felt pressure from his outside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action other than to advise both M.W. Hassett and C. Horgan to ride with more awareness in future.

C. Stone-Walsh, rider of Feature This, trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount met with interference early in the straight.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Boomerang Bill, trained by Aidan Anthony Howard, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

D.N. Curran, rider of Vormir, trained by F.Birrane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he got unseated from his mount on the way to the start.

206E2 O'Neill & Co. Apprentice H'cap

S.D. Bowen, rider of Simply Sideways, trained by Timothy Doyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lugged left early in the straight.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at around the 2 furlong marker involving Simply Sideways, ridden by S.D. Bowen, placed first, and Skontonovski (GB), ridden by Adam Caffrey, unplaced, where it appeared Skontonovski had to take a check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S.D. Bowen stated that he checked out to the right as his horse ran onto heels. Adam Caffrey stated that he had to take a slight check. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Jessica Maye, rider of Morning Approach, concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted she was in breach of the whip Regulation and apologised for her actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Jessica Maye was in breach of R10.3g(frequency) and R10.3(i)(time to respond) and having considered her record, they suspended her for 8 racedays. Furthermore they ordered her to attend R.A.C.E. for 1 days tuition on the correct use of the whip.

206F Hurling For Cancer Aug 21st Race

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Ross O'Sullivan, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Warrior Brave (GB), placed first, as compared with its most recent run. Katie Walsh, Authorised representative, stated that the straight track the last day at Ascot did not suit their charge and the bends today helped bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

206G Bert House Stud H'cap

C.D. Hayes, rider of Semblance Of Order, trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not jump out from stalls once the gates opened.
