The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Rockbury Lad (GB), ridden by L.F. Roche, placed fourth, Roman Palace, ridden by C.D. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that while Kampala Beach had caused interference to Rockbury Lad, they made no alteration to the Judge’s placings.
