The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Thomas Gibney, trainer of Alanya (FR)(lame) - €200 (late withdrawal).

191A Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the final furlong involving Bellezza, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed first, Brilliant, ridden by G.M. Ryan, placed third, and Glor Tire, ridden by R.P. Cleary, placed second, where it appeared that R.P. Cleary had to sit for a stride. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Glor Tire, trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to sit for a few strides in the home straight.

191B Hurling For Cancer August 21st H'cap

R. Whearty, rider of Charming Lady, trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount fly-leaped from the stalls.

191D Plusvital Supplements H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Big Dream, ridden by G.M. Ryan, Magic Charm, ridden by M.W Hassett, Smaoineamh Sile (GB), ridden by D.P. McDonogh, Alqabeela, ridden by D.E. Sheehy, and Treble Cone (GB), ridden by J.A. Powell where it appeared that interference may have occured. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.E. Sheehy stated that he had to sit behind horses when waiting for a gap when it got tight for room. J.A. Powell stated that it got tight between runners in the straight. D.P. McDonogh stated that he was hanging under pressure and was carried right in the straight. G.A. Ryan stated that his mount was tiring when he rolled around under pressure. M.W. Hassett stated that he was carried right by Big Dream in the straight, but accepted that he moved right off heels. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found M.W. Hassett was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards cautioned him on this occasion.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Smaoineamh Sile (GB), trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung all the way up the straight,was carried right and hampered.

J.A. Powell, rider of Treble Cone (GB), trained by Gerard Keane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran short of room one and a half furlongs out.

191E Irish Stallion Farms EBF Nasrullah H'cap

S. Foley, rider of Jungle Cove, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Zabeir, trained by Donal Kinsella, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

191F Irish Stallion Farms EBF Stanerra Stakes

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Library, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

C.T. Keane, rider of Divine Jewel (GB), trained by Roger Varian (in GB), reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount drifted right in the closing stages.

D. McMonagle, rider of Library, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got no run turning into the home straight.
