O'Connor where it appeared Castra Vetera crossed Gentle And Kind. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. M.P. O'Connor stated that he was just on the tail of Gentle And Kind and caught a heel. JJ Slevin stated that he was not aware of Castra Vetera being as close to him as he was. Hayes stated that Sleep Sound went forward coming to the bend and he ended up running into the back of Andyourbirdcansing. E.A. The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Foxy Jacks, ridden by G. Brouder, placed first, and Stealthy Tom, ridden by M.M. McDonagh stated that he jumped the last in the middle of the fence and got two bumps which pushed his mount out. G. Brouder stated that his mount wasn't doing much in front. He jumped the inside of the last and his mount drifted out and he put his whip down and pulled his mount in.
