The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Sunshine Theatre, trained by John Patrick Ryan, was found to have an overreach to its left fore and also was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

190E Cosy Roof Rated Novice H'dle

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident turning down the back straight involving Charlie Luciano, ridden by L.A. McKenna, and Lady Of The Vale, ridden by Mr A.P. Ryan where it appeared Lady Of The Vale took a stumble rounding the bend. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, L.A. McKenna stated that he jumped quicker than Lady Of The Vale and when he moved in on the bend he thought he was clear. Mr. A.P.Ryan stated that he was half a length down when Charlie Luciano moved in causing him to clip a heel and stumble. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found L.A. Mckenna was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards cautioned L.A. McKenna. .

C.J. Orr, rider of Our Jervis, trained by Noel C. Kelly, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled and was subsequently pulled up.

190G Cosy Roof INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards wished to enquire into an incident on the bend turning into the straight involving New Sheriff, ridden by Mr P.W. Mullins where it appeared he got tight for room and had to take a check. As Mr. P.W. Mullins had left the racecourse prior to 10 minutes after the winner all right had been called as stated in Rule 229 (v), the Raceday Stewards could not conduct the enquiry and referred the matter on to the Referrals Committee.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident rounding the home bend involving Fathom Two, ridden by Mr J. Dunne, Mister Vic, ridden by Mr L.T. Turner, Wholly Boley, ridden by Mr N. McParlan, and Air Drop, ridden by Mr J.H. Williamson where it appeared an incident had occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, Mr L.T. Turner stated that he drifted in momentarily but corrected his mount immediately. Mr. J. Dunne stated that he felt he had kept on his racing line rounding the bend. Mr. N. McParlan stated that he was hanging outwards coming down the hill and while he was half a length down on Air Drop he had to take a check back to avoid clipping a hell. Mr. J.H. Williamson, stated that he thought he was clear when he moved inwards and also stated that his mount may have shied from the riders whip movements outside of him. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Mr. J. H. Williamson, was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards cautioned Mr. J. H. Williamson. .

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Miss A. McGuinness, rider of Feast, concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted she was in breach of the whip Regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Miss A. McGuinness was in breach of R10.3(i)(time to respond) and having considered her record, they suspended her for 2 racedays.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr L.T. Turner, rider of Mister Vic, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip guidelines and apologised Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied Mr L.T. Turner was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considerd his record in this regard the Raceday stewards Suspended him for six racedays.

Mr N. McParlan, rider of Wholly Boley, trained by Gerald Stephen Quinn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left coming down the hill and was badly hampered.
