The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Keith Henry Clarke, trainer of Wish Me (off feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

N.M. Crosse rode Kodihill (reserve) trained by Mary Ellen Doyle (Race 3)
O. McSweeney rode Leviosa (reserve) trained by Seamus Fahey (Race 6)
S. Foley replaced N.M. Crosse on Spirit Of Paradise, trained by Mrs John Harrington (Race 5)(Stewards permission as intended mount was a non runner)

231A Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Time To Boogie (USA), trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, C. Horgan, rider of Taxiing (USA), trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount may be feeling the effects of running yesterday and also felt unbalanced on the quick ground.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, J.A. Heffernan, rider of Time To Boogie (USA), trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount did not act on the ground.

231B(i) BOYLESPORTS Supporting Irish Racing Hcap (Division One)

N.M. Crosse, rider of Plunkett Street (GB), trained by Michael William O'Meara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran around in the straight.

W.J. Lee, rider of Khattaat, trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the straight.

231D Irish EBF Median Sires Series M'dn

C. Horgan, rider of Small Fry, trained by Kieran Purcell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the stalls.

231E Open Week At Gowran Park H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Stag Night, trained by W. McCreery, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

W.J. Lee, rider of Stag Night, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not handle the ground.

G.F. Carroll, rider of Something Nice, trained by Michael Mulvany, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not handle the ground.

231F(i) Coast To Curragh Charity Cycle H'cap (Division One)

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Pinball Wizard, trained by John J.Nallen, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room just on the line.

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Above It All, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount did not get a clear run close to the line.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident close to the line involving Pinball Wizard, ridden by J.M. Sheridan, unplaced, Trueba, ridden by W. Joyce, placed fifth, and Above It All, ridden by Siobhan Rutledge, unplaced, where it appeared that Trueba shifted left close to the line. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.M. Sheridan stated that his mount received pressure from his outside causing him to move inwards. Siobhan Rutledge stated that she was racing from off the pace and had to slightly check on the line. W. Joyce stated that his mount went slight right despite his best efforts. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that W. Joyce was in breach of Rule 214 (careless riding) and having considered his record they cautioned him on this occasion.

The Raceday Stewards fined Patrick J.Flynn, trainer, €65 for failing to fit the declared headgear to Whatharm, prior to entering the parade ring.

231F(ii) Coast To Curragh Charity Cycle H'cap (Division Two)

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined One For Mum, trained by G.M.Lyons, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on the left fore post race.

W.J. Lee, rider of Bobby K, trained by Michael William O'Meara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was outpaced early in this race.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Allo Arry, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the home straight involving Allo Arry, ridden by Adam Caffrey, placed third, and One For Mum, ridden by C.T. Keane, unplaced, where it appeared that a gap closed in front One For Mum. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that the incident was caused by Allo Arry hanging right despite the riders best efforts and therefore took no further action.
