The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Sean Davis, trainer of Porsche Lad (Off-Feed) - €200

230A Irish EBF Auction Series (Fillies) M'dn

R.P. Whelan, rider of Avanti Avana (GB), trained by John S. O'Donoghue, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the stalls.

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Byzantine Empress (GB), trained by Kevin Thomas Coleman, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received interference after one and a half furlongs.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Masonbrook Meadow, trained by Kieran P. Cotter, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received interference shortly after the stalls opened.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Bella Colombia, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keen.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the first bend involving Byzantine Empress (GB), ridden by J.A. Heffernan, Masonbrook Meadow, ridden by R.P. Cleary, Smart Impression, ridden by N.G. McCullagh, and Bella Colombia, ridden by N.M. Crosse where it appeared interference may have taken place. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence J.A. Heffernan stated that he broke well and it was his intention to follow C.T. Keane, but he got tight for space on the first bend. R.P. Cleary stated that he got tight for space on the first bend. N.G. McCullagh stated that as the runners funnelled across to the first bend he got a little tight for space. N.M. Crosse stated that his filly was running keen on its debut and that he got tight for room on the first bend. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

230B Bar One Racing Kevin O'Hare Mourne H'cap

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from A.P.O'Brien, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Hispanic, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Pat Keating, Authorised Representative for A.P.O' Brien, stated that the ability to dictate and racing around a bend for the first time may have contributed to the improvement in form today. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

J.A. Powell, rider of Coolcalmncollected (GB), trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed David Marnane, trainer of Cash Or Crypto, concerning the conduct of this horse who refused to race. In his evidence, David Marnane stated that his charge showed no tendencies to be reluctant at home. He further added that he regretted not fitting a hood when loading today and felt that this may make a difference in future. Having viewed a recording of the start and considering the animal's previous record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards suspended Cash Or Crypto for 20 days in accordance with the provisions of Rule 14(iii).

Adrian McGuinness, trainer of Harry's Bar (GB), reported to the IHRB Veterinary Officer that his charge had burst a blood vessel. This was subsequently confirmed by the IHRB Veterinary Officer.

230C Bar One Racing Apprentice M'dn

Adam Caffrey, rider of Mayo Dawn, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

J.A. Powell, rider of Roman Harry, trained by James McAuley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left.

230D Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

N.M. Crosse, rider of Mexican Joe, trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left.

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of So Diligent (GB), trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keen.

230E(i) Bar One Racing Guaranteed Multiples Hcap (Division One)

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Numidia, trained by Peter Lawlor, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

J. Kearney, rider of Boadicea Belle, trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not get a run prior to turning into the home straight.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Kudbegood, trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was unruly to post.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Edward Lynam, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Punk Poet, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Edward Lynam stated that his charge benefitted from a drop in grade (47-65) today, which had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

James Andrew Fahey, trainer of The Blue Panther, reported to the IHRB Veterinary Officer that his charge had burst a blood vessel. This was subsequently confirmed by the IHRB Veterinary Officer.

230E(ii) Bar One Racing Guaranteed Multiples Hcap (Division Two)

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Alfarida, trained by Andrew Slattery, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Adrian McGuinness, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Skontonovski (GB), placed first, as compared with its recent form. Adrian McGuinness stated that a return to the All Weather surface with a lower mark may have contributed to the improved performance today. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of The Bog Bank, trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

230F Irish Stallion Farms EBF 'Red God' H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Higher Kingdom (GB), trained by John C. McConnell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Londoner, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned right under pressure.

R. Whearty, rider of March Law, trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Dark Street, trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keen.
