The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the final 50 yards involving Gone For Tea, ridden by Rachael Blackmore, placed second, and Fathom Two, ridden by K.M. Donoghue, placed first, where it appeared Gone For Tea ran short of room on the inner. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Rachael Blackmore stated that she was on the rail when Fathom Two came up on the outside going better than her horse and drifted over towards the rail at which point she steered around him. K.M. Donoghue stated that he was going clear when he used his whip and his horse drifted in. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that while Fathom Two had caused interference to Gone For Tea, he did not improve his finishing position so they made no alteration to the Judge’s placings. Furthermore the Stewards were satisfied that the interference was caused by accidental interference and took no further action.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, H.P. Cleary, rider of Figurehead, trained by Michael G. Cleary, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was having his first run back after a wind op and he rode him to get home.

The Raceday Stewards received a report from Mr. P.L. Malone, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Cian Cullinan, rider of Greenway Machine, presented to weigh out at 2lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he had done this weight recently but couldn't do it today despite having a run before racing. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for the rider to ride at 2lbs overweight but were satisfied that he was in breach of Rule 198 and they therefore imposed a fine of €150.
