• Applicants must be:  
    • A minimum of 25 years.   
    • Must provide two relevant references within the context of the application e.g. business/management experience: industry experience.  
    • Must be able to demonstrate career experience and competence.  
    • Must submit a minimum of three proposed clients.  
    • Each applicant must complete an interview with the Licensing Committee.

  • The Licensing year begins on 1 December each year, a renewal reminder and information will be issued to Licensed Agents 4 weeks in advance of the renewal date. 

    All Agents are expected to have achieved the required CPD points 
  • A Licensed Jockey Agent may be appointed by a Master Trainer to represent their Apprentice, but only if the Apprentice is claiming 7lbs or less.  
    The licensing year for Jockey Agents start on the 1 December and ends on the 30 November each year.
