The fine of €200 imposed on David Russell for failing to show at Downpatrick to ride Coldstonesober in the ‘Al Aasfa Best Dressed Lady Win A Trip to Meydan Races Dubai Handicap Hurdle’ has been remitted, as he has now provided the Turf Club with a valid explanation for his failure to ride which was not available to the Stewards at Downpatrick.
