Following a course inspection at Wexford today (Wednesday), the course was found to be fit for racing and the fixture scheduled for Friday, March 17th will go ahead as planned.  The ground at Wexford is currently Heavy.

Meanwhile the Steeplechase course at Downpatrick was found to be unfit for racing due to waterlogging following an inspection today.  The three steeplechases scheduled to take place at the Sunday, March 19th fixture have therefore been abandoned and the remaining races will be divided to form a six-race programme.  The ground on the hurdle and bumper track at Downpatrick is currently soft, heavy in places.
