The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Mr R.W. Barron rode Blue Templar (reserve), trained by E. Bolger (Race 7)
R.A. Doyle replaced P.J. O'Hanlon on Drimsree Lad, trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin (Race 7)(injured)

156A(i) Loch Garman (Mares) M'dn H'dle (Division One)

The Stewards fined T. Donohue, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Never Walk Alone, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Never Walk Alone in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

156A(ii) Loch Garman (Mares) M'dn H'dle (Division Two)

R.P. Treacy, rider of Aileens Joy trained by John M.Burke, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount cocked his jaw and ran out for no apparent reason.

156B BoyleSports Novice H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Kashid (USA) trained by J.J.Lambe was found to have blood at the nose following exercised induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

156C Calor Gas H'cap H'dle

D. Meyler, rider of Reine Fee, trained by Shane Crawley, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran out in the closing stages of its own accord.

156E Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap S'chase

C.A. Landers, rider of Crazywork De Vassy (FR) trained by Michael J. McDonagh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and made mistakes.

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Da Baba Elephant trained by Ronan M.P. McNally, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and was pulled up thereafter.

156F BoyleSports H'cap S'chase

The Stewards requested a report from Gavin Cromwell, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Top Of The Charts (FR), placed first, as compared with its recent form. Feidhlim Cunningham, authorised representative for the trainer, reported that his charge appeared to appreciate the step up in trip and felt this had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

156G BoyleSports INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Mr D.L. Queally, rider of Robaddan, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr D.L. Queally was in breach of Regulation 10.3(i)(time to respond) and having considered his record, they suspended him for 1 raceday.

The Stewards interviewed Mr E.P. O'Brien, rider of Conquering Tara, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. E.P. O'Brien was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record, they suspended him for 2 racedays.

Mr W.T. Cronin, rider of Capall Iarann trained by John J. Walsh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action down the back and was pulled up thereafter.
