The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

002A David Flynn Construction M'dn H'dle

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, K.C. Sexton, rider of Misty Milan, trained by Declan Queally, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was outpaced early and he rode her to finish in very heavy ground conditions.

002B Jimmy Shanahan Memorial H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Clarens, trained by J.P. Flavin, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

002C Ryans Cleaning Services M'dn H'dle

Sam Ewing, rider of Pat The Carraig, trained by Dermot P. O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not handle the ground.

002D Tramore Medical Clinic H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards interviewed C. Brassil, rider of Toor Moon, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence, C. Brassil accepted he was in breach and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found C. Brassil was in breach of R.10.3(i)(time to respond) and in considering his record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays.
