The Stewards received a report from the I.H.R.B Veterinary Officer, Ms. Nicola O'Connor that Empire Burleque, trained by Gordon Elliott, presented lame on his right hind limb on arrival today rendering the horse unfit to run, this being the second successive occasion following a simular circumstance at Ballinrobe on 12-8-19, where the same animal was withdrawn at a pre-race inspection. Evidence was heard from Barney Flood, authorised representative for Gordon Elliott and the I.H.R.B. Veterinary officer, who outlined her report and stated that she had spoke with Simon McGonagle, authorised representative for Gordon Elliott by phone who was aware of the animals history and was of the view that the animal would free up prior to racing. Having considered all the evidence, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Empire Burleque from this race under the provisions of Rule 18 and referred the matter to the C.E.O. of the I.H.R.B. for further investigation. Mr. Michael Murphy, Acting Steward did not attend this enquiry.

228D Europcar (Mares) Beginners S'chaseB. Hayes, rider of Dolly Dancer trained by Emmet Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount tried to run out.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Tell Me Annie, trained by Declan Queally, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.
P.T. Enright, rider of Brogine trained by S.Braddish, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake and was pulled up thereafter.
The Stewards enquired into possible interference at the second last fence involving Ayr Of Elegance (GB), ridden by Rachael Blackmore, placed third and Dolly Dancer, ridden by B. Hayes, placed first, where it appeared interference had occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards of the opinion that any interference caused was accidental in nature, they made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Docking trained by P.A.Fahy was found to be distressed post race. Samples were taken for analysis.
