The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

S.D. Torrens rode Prince Of Air (FR) (reserve) trained by P.J. Rothwell (Race 3)
P.J. Carberry rode Read To Return (reserve) trained by A.J.Martin (Race 5)
D.J. Gilligan rode Likable Chancer (reserve) trained by Daniel John Howard (Race 6)

086A Newtown M'dn H'dle

Mr A.P. Ryan, rider of Heather Bear, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount over reached at the last.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, Mr E.T. Mellerick, rider of Portarlington, trained by David Kenneth Budds, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran free early, jumped a bit sketchy, took a blow after a circuit and stayed on one paced.

086B Ladies Day August 19th M'dn H'dle

J.J. Doyle, rider of Ned's Legacy, trained by P.M.J.Doyle, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran green and hung.

J.B. Foley, rider of Baltic Moon (GER), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount struck into himself and was pulled up.

086C Copper Coast H'cap H'dle

K.M. Donoghue, rider of Downtherefordancin (GB), trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left down the hill.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Gendarme, trained by C.Byrnes, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

086E Tramore Promenade Beginners S'chase

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Leac An Scail Lady, trained by Michael Butler, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left and pulled up.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed P.J. Carberry, rider of Read To Return, concerning his use of the whip between the second last and last fence. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he was in breach of Regulation 10 and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that P.J. Carberry was in breach of Regulation 10.3(i)(time to respond. Having taken his previous record into account the Raceday Stewards suspended P.J. Carberry for three Raceday.

086F West Waterford H'cap S'chase

B. Hayes, rider of Golden Glen, trained by Brendan Maurice Walsh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled and pulled up.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Daniel John Howard, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Likable Chancer, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that his charge handled the tight track very well and got an easy lead throughout and felt that a combination of both had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

086G Gaultier Hunters S'chase

Mr J. Dunne, rider of Sizing Diamond, trained by J.T.R.Dreaper, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly hampered by the faller.
