The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D. Meyler rode Trees Valley (reserve), trained by W.J. Burke (Race 5).
K. J. Brouder replaced C.A. Landers on Jaipore, trained by J.A. Nash (Race 5)(unwell)

199B FormaHoof H'cap S'chase

The Stewards interviewed J.P. O'Sullivan, rider of Cantkidakidder, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found J. P. O'Sullivan in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g),frequency. Having considered J. P. O'Sullivan's record in this regard the Stewards suspended J. P. O'Sullivan for three racedays.

Miss M. O'Sullivan, rider of Leg Lock Luke trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount never travelled and was pulled up.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Friary Gold, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be making an abnormal respiratory noise when examined post race.

At the request of the Stewards, Rachael Blackmore, rider of Island Master, trained by W.J. Burke, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount made a mistake and never travelled thereafter.

At the request of the Stewards, N.P. Madden, rider of Shannon Tide, trained by E. Bolger, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was caught flat footed at several stages of the race and then stayed on well to the finish.

199C Strand Street Tramore M'dn H'dle

E. Walsh, rider of Fuinseoiges Fire trained by Liam P Cusack, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and was pulled up.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Bonarc, trained by John Patrick Ryan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

199E Newtown Head (Mares) M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Blossomfort Trish trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan was lame on its right fore post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Shuil Le Cheile trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan was found to have blood at its left nostril post race.

199F Copper Coast Geo Park H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Elegant Dan, trained by David M.O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

199G Tramore Directors INH Flat Race

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Not What It Seems, ridden by Mr J.J. Codd, placed second, Reverse Polarity, ridden by Mr R. Deegan, placed fourth and Ruaille Buaille, ridden by Mr P.W. Mullins, placed first, where it appeared that contact was made between the three. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that any interference caused was accidental in nature and they took no further action.
