Folliwing a course inspection by Turf Club Officials at Tipperary today, Tuesday, 7th August, the course was found to be fit for racing. However, due to an unfavourable weather forecast, it has been decided to hold a precautionary inspection at 9 am on Thursday, 9th August ahead of that evening’s scheduled fixture. Due to ground conditions, the three hurdle races (the Tipperary Publicans and Restaurants Hurdle, the Tipperary Professionals Maiden Hurdle and the Hideout Pub Sologhead Handicap Hurdle) will be restricted to 16 runners, while the two seven furlong races (the Listed Ad Valorem Stakes and the Derrinstown Stud Apprentice Handicap) will be restricted to 14 runners. The ground at Tipperary is currently Heavy.
