The Stewards fined J.P. Murtagh, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Red Kelly (FR), in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Red Kelly (FR) in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

The Stewards requested a report from Mrs John Harrington, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Onlyhuman, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Mr. Richard Galway, authorised representative for Mrs. John Harrington stated that the soft ground today had brought about the improvement in form when compared to the horses previous run. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation given.

James J. Doyle, rider of Cyrus Dallin (GB), trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran keen early.

281C Coolmore Home Of Champions Concorde Stks

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dubai Dominion (GB), trained by Ed Vaughan (in GB), at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

G.P. Halpin, rider of Black Magic Woman trained by Jack W. Davison, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not handle todays ground.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Imaging (GB), ridden by O.J. Orr, placed second and Yulong Gold Fairy (GB), ridden by K.J. Manning, placed first, where it appeared that O. J. Orr struck K. J. Manning's mount across the head with his whip. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental and took no further action.

281D Horse & Jockey Hotel H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ballyoisin, trained by E. Bolger, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for further analysis.

281F Fitzgerald's Woodlands Hotel H'cap H'dle

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Song Of Namibia trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a couple of bad mistakes and stopped quickly.

The Stewards fined J.J.Lambe, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Kasakh Noir (FR), in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Kasakh Noir (FR) in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

281G Like-A-Butterfly Novice S'chase

The Stewards interviewed D.E. Mullins, rider of Robin De Carlow (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found D. E. Mullins in breach of Regulation 10. 3.(g), excessive frequency, and having considered D. E. Mullin's record in this regard they cautioned him on this occasion.

P. Townend, rider of Brahma Bull trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped poorly.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Brahma Bull, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Following a request from broadcasters, the Stewards granted permission for the following delays:
Race 6 + 2 minutes, race 7 + 2 minutes and race 8 + 2 minutes.
