Mr J.L. Gleeson, rider of Hi Stranger, trained by John E. & Thomas Kiely, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

John E. & Thomas Kiely, trainer of Hi Stranger, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that their charge had burst a blood vessel. This was subsequently confirmed by the I.H.R.B. Veterinary Officer.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Heyjoe De Kerser (FR), trained by Paul Nolan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

S.F. O'Keeffe, rider of Positive Thinker, trained by Michael J. McDonagh, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped a flight on the way to the start when he was unable to stop him.

S. O'Callaghan, rider of Ladiam, trained by Norman Lee, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he lost his irons at the second last.

106C Tipperary Racecourse H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Clever Currency, trained by Paul W. Flynn, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Coole Arcade, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have an over reach to the inside of its right fore.

S.D. Torrens, rider of Clonmeen, trained by William P Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel. This was subsequently confirmed by the I.H.R.B Veterinary Officer.
