175C Follow Tipperaryraces Apprentice H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Messa Concertata, trained by Joseph G. Murphy, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Tom Kiely Marshall, rider of Messa Concertata trained by Joseph G. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount missed the break from the stalls.

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Ecclesiastical (GB) trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was awkward leaving the stalls.

J.A. Powell, rider of Poet's Pride (GB) trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled throughout this race.

175E Racing Again Tomorrow (Fillies) H'cap

The Stewards fined James McAuley, trainer, €65 for failing to fit cheek pieces to Sister Lola, prior to entering the parade ring.

The Stewards requested a report from Shane Crawley, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Karlsberg, placed first, as compared with its recent run at Listowel on June the 4th, where she finished tenth of twelve finishers this day. Shane Crawley, trainer, stated that todays soft ground conditions helped bring about todays improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.

175F @Tipperaryraces H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined All In Peder (FR), trained by Emmet Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.

175G1 TipperaryRaces.ie H'cap

James J. Doyle, rider of Enchanted One trained by John Patrick Ryan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount missed the break.

M.A. Enright, rider of Eastern Tornado trained by Michael P. Hourigan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly into stride.

R.C. Colgan, rider of Barometer trained by John Joseph Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received a bump on the first bend.

P.A. Harnett, rider of Itsalonglongroad (GB) trained by Charles Coakley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount clipped a heel early on in this race.

The Stewards interviewed D.P. McDonogh, rider of Inshallah Queen and Paul W. Flynn, trainer, after it appeared that the animal was led across the parade ring after mounting. Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer concerned. D.P. McDonogh, stated that his mount was a difficult filly and that the trainer had led the animal across the parade ring in the interest of safety. Paul W. Flynn, stated that his charge is a very difficult sort and that she started to misbehave when the horses in the parade ring backed up as a result of mounting. He further stated that he was aware of his responsibilities regarding parade ring procedures, but felt that in the interest of safety he had no other option in the circumstances.
Having view footage of the incident and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action other than to advise both Mr. McDonogh and Mr Flynn of their future responsibilities under Regulation 16.

175G2 TipperaryRaces.ie H'cap

S. Foley, rider of Wave Walker (GB) trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount struggled on today's going.
