The Stewards enquired into the apparent improvement in form of Feeling Easy, trained by Anthony Mulholland, placed first, compared with its recent form. Evidence was heard from Mr Garry O'Gorman, Senior Rules Of Racing Handicapper, who outlined the horses previous form and felt that the win had marked a significant improvement. Evidence was also heard from the trainer concerned, who stated that his charge had ran well at this time of year in the past and reported that although his charge had form on better ground, it appeared to appreciate today's soft to heavy ground conditions. He felt that a combination of both had brought about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
