The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

M. A. Enright replaced D.N. Russell on One In All In, trained by Gearoid O'Loughlin (Race 2)(Injured)
L. P. Dempsey replaced D.N. Russell on Miss Aloud, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 3)(Injured)
M. A. Enright replaced D.N. Russell on Ocean Voyage, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 4)(Injured)
L. P. Dempsey replaced D.N. Russell on Santana Plessis (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 6)(Injured)

318B Littleton H'cap S'chase

T. Ryan, rider of Chief Of Panama trained by Liam P Cusack, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was badly hampered at the second.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Rebel Turn trained by W.J. Burke was found to have blood at both nostrils post race, possibly as a result of a fall.

318C Templemore (Mares) M'dn H'dle

At the request of the Stewards, B. Hayes, rider of Bonnemine (FR), trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was never really travelling and that it did not finish out its race well.

At the request of the Stewards, I. J. McCarthy, rider of Porterhorse, trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was flat out all the way and then made a bad mistake at the last. .

The Stewards enquired into the running and riding of Benfit Of Kash, ridden by T.N. Brett, and trained by John Patrick Ryan. Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer concerned. T.N. Brett stated that his instructions were to drop out, get his mount to settle and to do the best he could. He said his mount had ran very poor previously when running prominent, only to fade quickly. He said his mount jumped well throughout, came off the bridle before getting a second wind and ran on one paced in the closing stages to pass tired horses. He also stated that he lost some ground by avoiding a faller at the second last hurdle.
John Patrick Ryan, confirmed the instructions given and expressed his satisfaction with the ride. He stated that his charge was a very limited filly that had disappointed in the past. He further stated that knowing his charge the way he does and how moderate her work is at home, he was pleasantly surprised at how well she finished out her race today.
The Stewards also received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer, who stated that Benfit Of Kash was found to be post race normal. Samples were taken for further analysis. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards noted Mr. Ryans explanation and advised T.N. Brett to be seen to ride stronger in the closing stages in future.

318D Ballagh (Mares) H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Whatucallher, trained by Edward P. Harty, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Edward P.Harty, trainer of Whatucallher, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge coughed post race.

318G The Irish Stallion Farms EBF Auction Fla

The Stewards interviewed Mr J. Archdeacon, rider of Rosgalme, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g) in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended Mr. J. Archdeacon for 1 raceday.

The Stewards informed David Peter Dunne, trainer of Eat The Book, that a repeat performance from his horse who misbehaved leaving the parade ring and was subsequently withdrawn on veterinary advice may render his charge liable to suspension.

The Stewards interviewed Mr T. Hamilton, rider of Beeverstown Bullet, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g) in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards cautioned Mr. T. Hamilton on this occasion.

E. D. Delany, trainer of Serpolette, reported to the Office of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board on Friday 8th November that his charge scoped dirty following this race.
