The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Split The Pound trained by John Patrick Ryan had blood at both nostrils post race.

185C Kilcawley Irish EBF (M) H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Purse Price (GB), trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

185D Friends Of Brian Mulligan Oppor Hcap Hdl

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Staging Post, trained by Mark Michael McNiff, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have lost it's left fore shoe and to be blowing hard post race.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Paul W. Flynn, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of The Big Chap, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Paul W. Flynn stated that today's better ground, a drop back in trip and a change of tactics may have helped bring about today's improvement in form. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Bidentime, trained by Noel G. Hynds, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Athagabhain trained by Adrian Sexton was lame post race.

C.J. Orr, rider of Midnight Fortune, trained by Noel C. Kelly, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, B.W. Harvey, rider of Macs Lady, trained by Shane Ryder, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stopped quickly going to the second last hurdle.

Mr H.E. Sexton, rider of Athagabhain, placed first, trained by Adrian Sexton, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount finished lame.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, P.T. Enright, rider of Bidentime, trained by Noel G. Hynds, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was flat out throughout this race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Macs Lady, trained by Shane Ryder, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

185F Sligo Park Hotel H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mister Twist, trained by Philip Fenton, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed T.P. Harney, rider of Gotthenod, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence, T.P. Harney accepted that he had breached the whip guidelines through a miscalculation when using it. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that T.P. Harney was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his clean previous record into consideration, the Raceday Stewards cautioned T.P. Harney on this occasion.

185G Durkin Bros. Electrical INH Flat Race

Mr P.W. Mullins, rider of Givago (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a respiratory noise from six furlongs out.
