J.W. Kennedy, rider of Saint Or Sinner trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was very green, never travelled and was pulled up.
The Stewards enquired into the start time of the first race which started before the appointed time. Evidence was heard from Mr. D. Cullen, IHRB starter, and Ms. T. O 'Meara, IHRB Clerk of the Course. In evidence the Starter confirmed that this race started at 5.11 p.m, this being four minutes before the appointed starting time of 5.15 p.m. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards found that the first race started before the appointed time but using their powers under Rule 10, they allowed the result to stand. The Stewards referred the matter to the CEO of the IHRB for further investigation.
230B Callan Tansey H'cap H'dleFollowing a request from broadcasters, the Stewards granted permission for the following delay: Race 2 + 1 Minute
The Stewards interviewed M.J. Bolger, rider of Ciankyle, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that M.J. Bolger was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards cautioned M.J. Bolger on this occasion.
230C Lengthen The Odds With BetVictor Mdn HdlThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dark Decade, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for further analysis.
D.E. Mullins, rider of Killdevil George trained by John Patrick Ryan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount whipped around and unseated after the third last hurdle.
R.A. Doyle, rider of Askthebossman trained by James Andrew Fahey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was pulled up having gone lame.
230D Guaranteed Run For Your Money H'cap H'dlThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Duke's Girl (GB) trained by Gordon Elliott was lame post race.
230E Francie "Banger" Burns Mem. H'cap H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mutadaffeq, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
230F Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap H'dleThe Stewards fined Patrick G.Kelly, trainer, €65 for failing to fit a tongue tie to High Five Oscar, prior to entering the parade ring.
M. Hamill, rider of High Five Oscar trained by Patrick G.Kelly, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled up lame.
P.J. Cawley, rider of Helly Hansum trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount didn't travel down the hill on the ground.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Miracle Way trained by Matthew J. Smith was lame right fore post race.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that High Five Oscar trained by Patrick G.Kelly was lame right fore post race.
230G Student's Day 25th Sept I.N.H. Flat RaceMr R. Deegan, rider of Cousin Harry trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount cocked his jaw and ran very wide off the bend.
