120A Yeats Country Claiming Race

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident immediately after the winning post when the runners were starting to pull up involving Scarlet Dancer, ridden by R. Whearty, Sunset Nova, ridden by Amy Jo Hayes, Mass Gathering, ridden by P.A. Harnett, and Hot Whispers, ridden by J. Coen where it appeared that Mass Gathering got very tight for room when racing beside the running rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, P.A. Harnett stated that he rode the rails position and his mount was tiring when the horses on his outer came in on his own mount immediately after the winning post. R. Whearty stated that his mount received pressure from the outer and contact was made with Sunset Nova. Amy Jo Hayes stated that Hot Whispers on her outer came across her mount and caused a concertina effect of movement. J. Coen stated that he was pushing his mount in a driving finish when the reins opened and went over his own neck causing him to lose his steering momentarily. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action. Liam Healy accompanied J. Coen at this enquiry.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Singe Anglais, trained by H.D. McGuigan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was awkward out of the starting stalls.

Sorcha Woods, rider of Magyar (GB), trained by Paul John Gilligan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount was tight for room soon after leaving the starting stalls.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Inflection Point, trained by James McAuley, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

120B Wildroots Festival H'cap

Adam Caffrey, rider of Lisieux, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room turning into the straight.

J. Cleary, rider of Asgard's Captain, trained by Thomas Dowling, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount reared up on leaving the starting stalls.

120C Ir. Stallion Farms EBF Median Auct. M'dn

Following a request from broadcasters, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for a two minute delay to this race

M.A. Enright, rider of St Faz (FR), trained by E. J. O'Grady, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keen during this race.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Vista Baby (FR), trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the starting stalls.

Following a request from broadcasters, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for a one minute delay to this race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Majestic Hills, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, L.F. Roche, rider of Majestic Hills, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount travelled ok in the early stages until passing the stands and struggled from four furlongs out before being eased in the latter stages of this race.

S.T. McCullagh, rider of One Boss (GB), trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left throughout this race.

120E Rosses Point Caravan Park H'cap

Following a request from broadcasters, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for a one minute delay to this race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Tellthemi'mhere, trained by Ian Patrick Donoghue, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing post race.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, R. Whearty, rider of Tellthemi'mhere, trained by Ian Patrick Donoghue, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stopped very quickly.

C. Stone-Walsh, rider of Persian Queen, trained by Ms. Joanna Morgan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the starting stalls.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Gradulations (GB), trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the starting stalls.

120F Hazel Wood M'dn

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Expound (GB), trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got bumped from his inner between the three furlong marker to about one and a half furlongs out. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the video recording of this part of the race and were satisfied that no action was warranted.

S.T. McCullagh, rider of Daghdha, trained by Patrick Martin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the starting stalls.

S. Cleary-Farrell, rider of Nikini, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the starting stalls.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, J. Cleary, rider of Way Forward, trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung slightly left in the straight and was eased close to the finish.
