The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

G. Brouder replaced C.P. Millar on Must Meet Cecil, trained by Cian Collins (Race 1)(stood down).
Niall Moore replaced C.P. Millar on Call Me Rose, trained by Cian Collins (Race 3)(stood down).
Anna McGuiness replaced C.P. Millar on She'll Be Kept, trained by Cian Collins (Race 6)(stood down).
M.P. O'connor replaced J. Coen on Bearami Creek, trained by Peter Fahey (Race 3)(stood down).
L.A McKenna replaced J. Coen on Kalanisi Dubh, trained by Seamus Fahey (Race 4)(stood down).

158A Knocknarea Claiming H'dle

P. Hanlon, rider of Rockview Roman, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up lame.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed D.A Kidd, rider of Dreal Deal, trained by John C. McConnell, concerning his riding in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he had failed to obtain the best possible place as a result of misjudgement. Having viewed the recording and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found D.A Kidd in breach of Rule 212A (iv) (stopped riding) and having considered his record in this regard they suspended him for four race days and ordered that he forfeit his riding fee.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Rockview Roman trained by John C. McConnell was found to be lame post race with an injury on the right fore tendon.

158B Stephen Mullins & Sons (M) M'dn H'dle

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an possible interference rounding the omitted last hurdle involving Another Girl, ridden by P.J. O'Hanlon, placed fourth, Emily's Light, ridden by A. McCurtin, placed fifth, Mollys Dolly, ridden by R.P. Treacy, unplaced and Our Girl Ellie, ridden by T. Ryan, placed second, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R.P. Treacy stated that things became tight when avoiding the hurdle. T. Ryan stated that things became tight but that it had not affected his finishing position. P.J. O'Hanlon stated that horses came close together. A. McCurtin stated that he felt he had not suffered any interference. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alterations to the judges placings and took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed T. Ryan, rider of Our Girl Ellie, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that T. Ryan was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his clean record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays.

Anna McGuinness, rider of Ar Aghaidh, trained by Hugh Paul Finegan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not handle the ground and pulled up.

P. Hanlon, rider of Georginas Jet, trained by Paul John Gilligan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran out at the first hurdle.

The Raceday Stewards advised Paul John Gilligan, trainer of Georginas Jet, that a repeat performance from his charge, who ran out at the first hurdle, may render the animal liable to a suspension in the future.

158C RSS Record Storage M'dn Hdle

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Saint Peregrine, ridden by L.A. McKenna, placed second and Shudawudacuddagh, ridden by K.C. Sexton, placed first, where it appeared Saint Peregrine drifted into Shudawudacuddagh. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. L.A. McKenna stated that his mount is a tricky ride and when reacting to the stick drifted into Shudawudacuddagh. K.C. Sexton stated that he felt pressure from Saint Peregrine. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that L.A. McKenna was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record in this regard (second offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended him for four racedays.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Quantum Boy, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

158D Crawford Tiles And More H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards reviewed the riders' first approach to the starter. Evidence was heard from The I.H.R.B Starter who stated that he was satisfied with the start. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

158E Glasshouse Hotel (QR) H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ilbdare, trained by Mark Michael McNiff, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have coughed a few times post race. The trainer subsequently reported that mucus was found on endoscopic examination post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Our Zebo, trained by Noel C. Kelly, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Mr E. Staples, rider of Backonthegoagain, trained by Colin Bowe, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that things got a little tight for room at the road first time around.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident going past the stands with a circuit to go involving Tropical Image, ridden by Mr A. Burke-Ott, unplaced and Made In The Woods, ridden by Mr J.L. Gleeson, unplaced, where it appeared Made In The Woods had to take a check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr A. Burke-Ott stated that he thought he was further up and apologised for the interference he has caused. Mr J.L. Gleeson stated that he maintained his line and asked Mr A. Burke-Ott to not come in on top of him. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Mr A. Burke-Ott, was in breach of Rule 214 in that they had ridden carelessly, and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.

Mr J.L. Gleeson, rider of Made In The Woods, trained by Norman Lee, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had been badly hampered going by the stands with a circuit to go by Tropical Image.

158F Connaught Bottlers H'cap H'dle

P.M. O'Brien, rider of Brock Beauty, trained by Ms Claire O'Connell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up burst a blood vessal.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed R.P. Geoghegan, rider of Seventy Eight Team, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he had not connected with one of his strikes. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted. Dr. E. O'Beirn recused himself from his enquiry.

158G Ir Stall Farms EBF (M)(PA) INH Flat Race

Mr J.L. Gleeson, rider of Irish Music (FR), trained by J.P.Dempsey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount raced too freely.

Mr O.T. Gilligan, rider of Goodgollymissholly, trained by Paul John Gilligan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up having lost his action.

T.J. Nagle Jr., trainer of Miss Blanco, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge gurgled in running.
