The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

240A District Speciality Coffee Claiming Race
Adam Caffrey, rider of Comfort Line, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lugged right up the home straight.
The Raceday Stewards fined James McAuley, trainer, €65 for fitting blinkers and not the declared visor to Magnetic North, prior to entering the parade ring.
The Raceday Stewards fined Denis Gerard Hogan, trainer, €65 for fitting cheek pieces to Bal De Rio (FR) which had not been declared and ordered it’s removal.
240B Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dnThe Raceday Stewards interviewed G.P. Halpin, rider of Interestnpenalties, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he was in breach of the R10. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that G.P. Halpin was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard they suspended him for four racedays.
J.A. Heffernan, rider of Cambridge, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that there was a delay in the stalls opening.
G.P. Halpin, rider of Interestnpenalties, trained by Sean Davis, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that the starting stalls didn't open on the first attempt.
The Raceday Stewards received a report from Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Starter, Mr. D. Cullen, that there was a slight delay with the starting stalls opening when he attempted to start this race and riders had anticipated the stalls opening in a more timely fashion. He further confirmed that he had followed procedure and tested the stalls prior to this race and everything was in order. Having viewed the recording of the start and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
240C Irish EBF Auction Series RaceR.C. Colgan, rider of Ribchestina, trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left in the home straight.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ribchestina, trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
240E Londis Roscommon H'capC.D. Hayes, rider of Coins Cross, trained by Eddie & Patrick Harty, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled.
240F Connolly's Red Mills Apprentice M'dnJ. Coen, rider of Boston Bongo, trained by Barry J. Fitzgerald, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran green rounding the first bend.
J. Kearney, rider of Great Cat Mau (USA), trained by G.M.Lyons, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout this race.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Acquest, ridden by M.W Hassett, Fisherman's Beach, ridden by C. Stone-Walsh, and Navajo River, ridden by P.A. Harnett, where it appeared contact was made. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. M.W. Hassett stated that he was holding his line when receiving a bump. P.A. Harnett stated that there was a gap when he switched out and Fisherman's Beach was slightly coming in when they made contact. C. Stone Walsh stated that his mount is a green individual, but felt he didn't contribute to any interference. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Luke Comer, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Navajo River, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Jim Gorman, Authorised Representative for the trainer reported that a combination of a step up in trip and a stong gallop on this occasion had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation offered.
240G Sean Cleary Memorial H'capJ.M. Sheridan, rider of Action Motion, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount drifted right turning in.
G.F. Carroll, rider of Indignation (FR), trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't get a clear run in the straight.
