The Stewards fined V. T. O'Brien, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Spittal Field, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Spittal Field in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.
At the request of the Stewards, M. Hamill, rider of Hewick, trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled down the back, side stepped fallers and stayed on in the closing stages.
145B Ladies Day Roscommon 8th July H'cap H'dlThe Stewards interviewed I.J. McCarthy, rider of All The Angels (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that I.J. McCarthy was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g) (frequency) and Regulation 10.3(i) (time to respond) and having considered his record, they suspended him for 2 racedays.
R.A. Doyle, rider of She'stherightone trained by Denis W. Cullen, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost a shoe in running and lost its action as a result.
K.C. Sexton, rider of King Christophe trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a mistake and sustained an injury having over reached.
T. Ryan, rider of Meet The Man trained by James Grace, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was badly hampered at the start.
145C Dermot Hughes Car Sales Rated Novice HdlD.N. Russell, rider of Take A Turn trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake, felt lame and was pulled up thereafter.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Take A Turn, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have a wound inside the left fore knee.
145D Sigmar Recruitment H'cap H'dleUnder the provisions of Rule 90, the Stewards allowed Trickey Trix, trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the error identified in the certification of vaccinations would be corrected in accordance with Rule 91 within the timeframe specified.
The Stewards fined V. T. O'Brien, trainer, €65 for failing to fit the declared head gear to Oh'herewego, prior to entering the parade ring.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ask And Answer, trained by Sean Aherne, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.
P. Townend, rider of Ask And Answer trained by Sean Aherne, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and was pulled up thereafter.

Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that H. Morgan was in breach Of Regulation 10.3(g) (frequency) and having considered his record, they suspended him for 1 raceday.
145G Lengthen The Odds (Pro-Am) INH Flat RaceThe Stewards interviewed Mr N. Bashford, rider of Centaur, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr. N. Bashford was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g) (frequency) and having considered his record, they cautioned him on this occasion.
